Reporting to the VP, Talent, Talent Acquisition and Diversity & Inclusion, the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition will work closely with Business Leaders and their leadership teams to drive business outcomes through the development of and execution against TA priorities. Partnering with the HR Leadership Team, this position will oversee the TA teams in the US, EMEA and APJ, totaling 100+ Recruiters, Sourcers and Coordinators. We are currently searching for a talented and motivated person to join our team as a Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition, in our San Jose, CA office. This role will lead the company’s Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy and key activities including workforce planning, full life cycle recruitment, candidate pipeline management, employment branding, University program management, diversity hiring, and TA operational efficiencies. You must be analytical and critical thinking with a metrics-driven approach to Talent solutions. As a leader of the TA team, you will set an example for excellence and act as a mentor to your team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with business leaders to design, develop, communicate, and implement an effective   

   Talent Acquisition (TA) strategy.

• Work with HRLT team to plan and predict future hiring needs.

• Oversee a team of 100+ Recruiters, Sourcers, and Coordinators to execute the TA strategy,

   including:

-Identify positions to be filled based on approved headcount plans

-Partner with compensation to define job requirements, job level, and compensation rang

-Determine sourcing methodology, interview and selection criteria

• Ensure efficient TA operations with metrics that are tracked and reported

• Develop a strategy for candidate pipeline development

• Develop PayPal Talent Acquisition branding in the marketplace, including developing materials

   for job fairs, external recruitment, and social media campaigns.

• Oversee the management of third-party recruitment firms.  

• Support M&A related activities and be a resource for the integration team.

• Global travel required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 15+ years of prior Talent Acquisition (TA) experience

• 10+ years management experience

• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a TA team

• Prior experience working in a high-tech company preferred

• Proficient in staffing tools and systems (i.e. LinkedIn, Workday)

• Excellent planning, organizational and interpersonal skills

• Innovation in the field of artificial intelligence

• Excellent people skills to sell the company and attract talent

• Ability to set and track goals for the team, with meaningful metrics for business leaders

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to present in front of a large audiences, delivering TA strategy

• The ability to flourish in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.

• Team oriented consensus builder who understands how to achieve buy-in from diverse constituencies, building

   bridges and designing “win-win” solutions across a matrix management organization.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience is required with a preference for an advanced degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
