As an enabler of this mission, you will bring extensive experience of the software and payments stack required to successfully scale a small business in this environment. Specifically, you will bring deep knowledge of the e-commerce and POS landscape and of the key merchant challenges and opportunities connected to scaling a digital first business. We’re looking for a senior leader for our Small Business Product Strategy team. As a leader of this team, you will be responsible for building the overarching product strategy for our SMB product portfolio, that includes in-store and online payments, business management software and financial services. You will also enable high-impact execution of this strategy through continuous prioritization, planning and management of our key SMB product initiatives. As the lead for Small Business Product Strategy, you will work side-by-side with the leadership of our SMB product organization (including our SVP of small business segment solutions). You will also partner closely with PayPal leaders across Corporate Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Partnerships to connect strategy and execution across all customer touchpoints and help achieve our ambitious goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishing key product themes to unlock SMB segment strategy 
  • Building prioritization logic for product themes and initiatives 
  • Creating execution plan across product modules with clear ARCIV 
  • Owning the definition and alignment of top KPIs and tracking  
  • Leading project coordination of top product initiatives
  • Prepare high-priority decision-making material for regular senior leadership meetings  
  • Supporting with Exec level leadership cadences with regular (status) updates 


Requirements

  • 15 + years Experience, 5+ years leading teams
  • Bachelors degree in Business/Finance/Economics or similar  
  • Experience in next-generation commerce solutions (e.g. SaaS) for SMBs  
  • Strategic, analytical, communication, leadership and problem solving skills  
  • Driven, self-starter with a passion for excellence  
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and with working in a fast-paced environment  
  • Fluency in English, preferably at least 1 additional language
