We are looking for an experienced marketing analytics team member who is excited to apply their in-depth understanding of digital marketing to the small business lending landscape. If you understand pixels, algorithmic bidding, and attribution and are excited about surfacing ways to optimize an expansive marketing budget, this could be a great fit. This role sits within an analytics organization and partners with Marketing to drive success.

In this role, you will:

  • Leverage knowledge of digital advertising to deep-dive into campaign performance, surfacing insights marketing can utilize to improve financial outcomes
  • Manage and enhance technical aspects of our marketing program (such as taxonomy, attribution, data pipelines) to ensure we can understand the consumer journey, marketing initiatives, and business outcomes in an automated fashion
  • Work with marketing analytics team members & channel managers to optimize all direct response marketing (Direct Mail, E-Mail, Digital) and OB/IB Sales channels
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving data quality, data value, and speed to market through partnering with internal teams (Product, Front-end Engineering, Data Engineering, and Data management) and vendors
  • Conduct rigorous data analysis on existing and new data sources to identify growth opportunities for business unit and present strategy recommendations to leadership
  • Partner with risk modeling teams to continually improve targeting models that ensure targeting strategies are in-line with buy--box
  • Assist with reporting to develop forecasts, address ad-hoc questions and compile presentations for senior-level stakeholders

A successful candidate has:

  • Appreciation for a culture of collaboration, innovation, inclusion and integrity

  • Inquisitive and data driven mind-set, with proven analytic capabilities
  • At least 1 year in marketing analytics role and 3+ years in analytic roles
  • Performance marketing experience is a requirement, specifically utilizing third-party digital platforms (such as Facebook, Google, Bing, LinkedIn, Affiliates)
  • Querying and Programming language experience (ideally SQL and Python)
  • Demonstrable track record of process improvement and ability to convey end-user value
  • Exposure to web analytic tools (Google Analytics, Heap, Full Story, Amplitude, etc.) and an understanding of their role in performance marketing
  • Mindset that done is better than perfect but tomorrow should be better than today
  • Thirst for feedback and the ability to implement it
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to thrive in a remote work setting
