The Solutions Engagement Specialist’s primary responsibility will be to assist in managing PayPal’s partner onboarding engagements thru its lifecycle, liaising with internal and external cross-functional teams to align on requisite deliverables to deployment of infrastructure services between External 3rd parties and PayPal’s test and Production environments with high quality execution; enabling business unit objectives for quick to go market solutions and successful product launch.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in consultation roles managing technical projects.
  • MS Project, Excel, Word, Confluence, Service Now
  • Customer focused orientation with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Exposure to highly distributed global and multi-cultural organizations
  • Responsive to requests from management, employees, and external teams
  • Big Five consultation firm experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Program Manager in management of onboarding deliverables to ensure they are complete for project kickoff and subsequent internal and external scope discussions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to determine project objectives, timelines, project scope, assumptions and constraints, deliverables and milestones
  • Track progress against plans; Identifying critical paths and drive action plans.
  • Manage risks/issues and mitigation plans with contingencies; tracking open issues and drive to resolutions, ensuring stakeholders are informed. Be proactive in raising red flags to the team.
  • Liaise with internal and external cross functional team members to ensure delivery milestones are on track.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes by leading post-project analyses and updating processes accordingly. This role involves working closely across multiple functions from various lines of business to infrastructure and software development teams within the organization.
