A typical day for the Software Engineer will include: PayPal’s Risk organization is in charge of implementing unique fraud-detection algorithms. As part of the development organization, you will be responsible for practicing technical design, developing new functionality and maintaining existing components. You will deep dive into PayPal’s world class risk systems and algorithms and work side by side with data scientists on data centric analytic solutions. You will have a contribution to PayPal’s efforts to fight Fraud using advanced algorithms and technology, while deploying the code you develop into PayPal’s live systems and having a true global effect. What does Success Look Like?  

We are seeking a motivated team player for Java developer Position to join our team.

About You

  • B.Sc. in computer sciences or equivalent; or IDF technological unit technology experience
  • 2+ years' development experience in Python / Java or any other programming language.
  • Excellent coding skills and deep understanding of object-oriented design, data-structures, concurrency and algorithms.
  • Strong OOP skills, ability to analyze requirements and prepare design
  • Innovative, entrepreneurial, Team player, Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent English (written and verbal)
