We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist, to join our Digital team in Stockholm. You’ll be responsible for managing social performance, content, analytics, budget and investments globally to drive awareness and acquisition. This is a ~12 months assignment (covering for a colleague on parental leave), with great opportunity to get permanent employment in Zettle’s marketing team.

As Social Media Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow social media and digital specialists as well as creatives and marketing managers. At Zettle we strive to work as one team and you’ll be the key player in ensuring a consistently high standard of content and execution, maximizing the potential of our social channels to achieve set business goals. To be a good fit for this role you have a structured and data driven mindset and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You also have experience working with creatives, campaign set up; campaign creation, audience strategy, optimisation and analysing performance. As well as proven know-how in monitoring and optimising campaigns to improve channel performance and reaching set KPI’s, managing big-budget social campaigns on a global scale. A good understanding and/or experience in working with Display, YouTube, Funnel and Smartly is a plus as well as experience working creatively with agencies.

•       Managing budget and allocating investments 

•       Analyse performance data and improve efficiency of the investments such as optimising content quality, execution and ROI 

•       Run and continuously optimise social advertising campaigns 

•       Have channel and project ownership from start to finish 

•       Keep track of trends and algorithm updates in online marketing and social media in particular 

•       Work closely with the relevant internal stakeholders outside of the Digital team to make sure our social media activities are aligned with overall marketing objectives and set business goals 

•       Run and continuously optimise awareness, acquisition and retention campaigns for the different European and Latin American markets where iZettle is present 

•       Develop social media strategies 

•       Work closely with our coms team to align activity around bigger campaigns 

•       Ensure our social media presence aligns with our set brand guidelines and ToV 



We hire people. Not CVs. 

•       3+ years of working experience within social media advertising 

•       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field 

•       Advertising experience using Facebook business manager and Google Analytics 

•       Proven experience working towards channel specific and wider business KPIs 

•       Brilliant English, if you are native that’s a plus 

•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a thorough understanding of social media management, content and strategy 

•       Comfortable working with creative agencies and external partners 

•       Experience in optimizing metrics such as CPM, CPA, CPV and PBT 

. Excellent prioritisation skills, able to work to deadlines and under pressure without compromising quality 

•       Experience with A/B and multivariable testing 

•       Experience in detailed and complicated audience targeting methods 

•       Clear understanding of how social media campaigns can be used in different parts of the funnel
