The Team – Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement:

Historically, all Regions (NA, EMEA, APAC) have run separate Marketing functions and have had different operational set ups. As part of the Global Marketing transformation program, all regional teams have been consolidated in to one and the new Global Marketing Operations Transformation & Enablement team has been established. The Global Marketing Ops Transformation & Enablement team are tasked with designing and driving this bold new operating model, establishing a blueprint for the future where people, process and technology come together as one. Creating new ways of working that elevate our ability to deliver our marketing plans and innovate continuously. The team are very well regarded, highly skilled and innovative with over 220 full time and agency support staff building our organization structure, process and technology for change. For you to succeed on this team it is important for you to be comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, to continuously learn and have a curious mindset, to understand and help drive a DevOps Culture, to be proactive, collaborative and to have a sense of humour (optional). 

Location: New York, London, San Jose

Travel: Main destinations will include San Jose (Global HQ) & Global Hubs: New York, London, Singapore.

What will your week look like?

You are working to support the flow of work across the end to end Global Marketing process, with reference to the 6D Marketing framework (Define, Design, Develop, Deliver, Deploy & Data). You initiate campaigns in partnership with program leads and ensure they understand & leverage the people, process & technology available to them in order to plan and eventually deliver their campaigns with excellence. Through quick, efficient and prepared meetings you get marketing campaigns moving through each of the “6D” stages towards production. You are embedding new agile ways of working across the teams you support, ensuring weekly work in progress flows as planned with smooth handovers between Marketers and Strategy / Service teams (Creative Lab, Paid Media, Owned Channels, Transcreation, etc…). You are a double headed angel who can help marketing and service teams answer any question in the context of campaigns you are assisting. You are using your knowledge of Agile, Kanban and how these services work to trouble shoot where necessary, stepping in to support areas in which you have expertise and proactively bringing in experts from across Marketing Operations & partners where you don’t. 

Skills to be used: Agile Project Management and Product Management. Communication, Stakeholder Management and Clear Articulation skills. Attention to detail and prioritization across parallel workstreams. 

What will your quarter look like?

You are continuously reviewing the weekly and monthly rhythms of the teams you support as well as system data from your operational dashboards and experiences from other Campaign Delivery Experts supporting other teams. You are using this quantitative & qualitative data to proactively identify which campaigns can be operationalized to reduce the load on Marketing teams. You are working with Channel Dev Team Leads and Digital Process Design & innovation teams to demonstrate and deliver better ways of working to Marketing stakeholders. You are constantly driving adoption of the new operating model across the cross functional teams and in doing so driving high NPS scores. You have worked with your colleagues to effectively manage all Global marketing Work In Progress and balanced projects that require more hands on support with those which can be run effectively with offshore resources. 

Skills to be used: Communication and Learning skills. Operational Data analysis skills. Driving Customer Feedback Loops. Training & Development.  

What will your year look like?

You are churning the extended Campaign Delivery team to keep a body of knowledge in tact while maintaining costs. You reflect on the efficiency of the Campaign Delivery team and partner with technical enablement pods and other stakeholders (eg: Global Marketing, Growth, Creative Lab etc) on strategy for next year with regards to Campaign Delivery.

Skills to be used: Team Management. Internal & External learning & prototyping new ways of working.

Education & Experience required:

  • Marketing or Management Degree with Technology or Agile Product Management or Agile Product Management certifications. Multilingual skill set a plus
  • Multiple year Marketing execution and delivery experience with omni channel focus. 
  • Essential experience in managing multiple small/medium workstreams in parallel.  
  • Experience working in agile team environments.  
  • Multilingual skill set a plus but not necessary.
