We are seeking young sales professionals with analytical mindset to engage and grow our high value SMB base (over phone + email). You will work SMB leaders for revenue protection and revenue growth of high value SMBs across PayPal’s International markets. To excel in this role, you will need to have a strong business acumen to work the revenue levers and communication & relationship skills to engage with Merchants across international markets. 

SMB Engagement (12 months Contract)


  • Responsible for merchant outreach to drive incremental revenue for the SMB portfolio across South east asia, Middle east & Africa, India, Hong Kong, Central European markets 
  • Ensure Revenue protection of existing portfolios by monitoring merchant performance 
  • Engage with Risk , Compliance and Product teams internally to facilitate merchant transactions
  • Develop portfolio strategies to grow high potential accounts using pricing interventions, product upsell and x-sell
  • Drive revenue retention by building rapport with merchants who are about to churn, offering them with the right support to address any limitations on their accounts, and help drive improved share of checkout by offering them the right products
  • Keep abreast with various International markets and their competition landscape and payment industry trends


  • Bachelor's Degree 3 – 5 years experience in merchant facing roles preferably in sales
  • Proficient in Mandarin / Cantonese preferred to service Hong Kong merchants
  • Results-driven with Revenue growth as a KPI
  • Quick learner who can pick up market level nuances and develop expertise of PayPal’s offerings, by market 
  • Analytically strong and ability to manage data using excel or other tools
  • Experience in working in Large organizations with Matrix structures
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
