An iZettle UX designer is passionate about interpreting the needs and desired outcomes

of real people into successful decisions and outputs. Knowing the psychology behind the human decision patterns and building hypotheses and concepts based on UX principles. The iZettle UX designer has a strong holistic view over the whole user journey across all of our public facing digital touch points.

As a UX Designer you bring a broad toolset of UX principles and a lot of experience to the team enabling them to look across the whole picture of the user experience. You’re able to synthesize both qualitative, quantitative and human data into different hypotheses and then validate the output through feedback gathering to create and deliver clear and easy-to-understand descriptions of how we’re supposed to communicate online, in order to have the best experience possible.

You’re a strong advocate for accessibility and you burn for bringing value and memorable experiences to our potential customers, experiences that stand iZettle apart from our competitors. You’re the user’s ambassador owning the user’s experience and driving the why, what and how. You’re responsible for continuously evolving and improving the users overall experience whilst also taking the whole iZettle experience into account. 

As an iZettle UX designer you will work in strategic partnership and close collaboration with all design competences within the team plus creatives, tech different marketing teams and product counterparts.

Build our brand on social and beyond

Have a holistic overview over all our public facing web sites (public web, FAQ, Blog and Accessory store) working autonomous and strategically to constantly be in the forefront, knowing what our users expect and how they are moving across our different public facing touch points. Initiate and own UX initiatives to improve our way we communicate with our users to enhance their experience as the company grows. 

Work with UX Research in the development and evaluation of personas, usability studies, and testing. Making sure that we test everything and that we get the data we need to constantly improve our public web.

Looking over the overall user experience across all digital touch points 

  • Concept development from a user perspective

  • Having a holistic user centered view over all digital touch points

  • Simplify complex user journeys into intuitive digital experiences.

  • Responsible for how our users experience our public touch points.

  • Be part of  the development of the style guide

  • Set UX principles

  • Be strong advocates for the Mobile first thinking

  • Extensive experience of working as a UX designer both at agencies and internal agencies as employed or as a consultant.

  • Experience from working with or at big international companies.

  • Feeling comfortable presenting concepts and visions to top leadership as well as to the rest of the company and team.

  • Used to working in an agile environment

  • Have experience of working hands with wireframing, visual design, creating prototypes, user testing and analysing data.

  • Not afraid of doing hands on work as well as leading and inspiring other people within and around the team.

  • Comfortable working with tools like Sketch, Abstract, Adobe Suite, Figma, Framer,
