The Consistent Experiences Framework team provides the technology capabilities that powers the one time payment (checkout) and repeat payments (vaulted wallet) experiences. The software this team develops enables the most significant payment volume and fastest growing revenue area for the company. As a senior member of this team, you'll be defining the technical vision of our experiences framework. You will execute upon and guide the team towards that vision. You will focus on optimizing the web application for performance, define and implement shared components, and mentor members of the engineering team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This is an opportunity to develop experiences that delight millions of consumers each day with a high impact to PayPal, our merchants, and their customers.

Skills you'll need:

  • 6+ years of experience as a software developer.
  • Expert JavaScript Knowledge
  • Expert React Knowledge
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Familiar and comfortable with the technologies, the tradeoffs, and the design patterns emerging in web applications
