We're looking for a Senior PM to own the Venmo App Experience end-to-end.

As a product manager with Venmo you will be part of the Product Team where you will work closely with fellow product managers, designers and engineers to deliver seamless intuitive payment experiences to our users. 

We spend our days advancing Venmo’s mobile payments platform to exceed our users’ wants and needs. We are data-driven by nature and guided by human-centered design principles. We learn from one another and push each other to be at our creative and analytical bests. 
 

Product Manager, App 

As our App Experience PM, you will be the sole end-to-end owner of the Venmo App Experience. You will own everything including the Feed, Settings, Identity Verification, and any other common elements that touch our portfolio. You will be responsible for reviewing all new experiences before they launch across all of our core verticals, helping connect the dots visually and functionally between products. 

You will work directly with our other Product Managers of P2P, Card experiences, Crypto, and Commerce to ensure consistency and natural engagement across our products. You will also work very closely with our Design team, helping think through common elements and bridging the gap between our different product lines.  

You will be responsible for building a roadmap that connects our common design elements to the larger products they support and will work with a dedicated Engineering team to execute on the vision. You will be the point person for the App balancing customer desires, business requirements, legal/compliance, and design to create a delightful product.  

What We’re Looking For  

  • Minimum 5 years as a Product Manager in a consumer facing, design focused company  

  • Experience in managing or influencing a team of Product Managers, or cross-functional products at once that have different KPIs or P&Ls 

  • A love for the existing Venmo product & experience using Venmo multiple times per month. Strong plus if you consistently use additional products outside of P2P 

  • Experience building a product roadmap and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable impact  

  • Analytical experience, specifically in using Looker or other BI tools to drill down on insights and create solutions on data-driven hypotheses   

  • Proven ability to analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features  

  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills to senior leaders and project partners   

  • Deep attention to detail; desire to collaborate on new processes for efficiency   

  • Bias toward data-driven decision making  

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver core responsibilities against deadlines   

  • Ability to quickly build consensus  

  • Experience in Payments or Consumer Financial Services is a plus 

  • Track record of designing & building products to achieve financial and business objectives
