The iZettle Backoffice is the home of our merchant’s business. The place from which they run, manage, understand and grow that business. It is an integral part of their every day and a key strategic component of the iZettle offering.
We are looking for a senior product designer with a breadth of experience across the whole product development lifecycle. Able to shift mindsets between an holistic, systematic view of the platform experience to the details of the interactions and flow of the interface. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact as a member of highly collaborative, cross functional team of designers, engineers and product management.
With design being a bridge between product and tech, we expect you to understand the needs of real people, business goals, and technical feasibility to find the right balance between speed of delivery and quality. As a result of this you should be able to work quickly at different levels of fidelity depending on the context - whether that’s demonstrating to the organisation what is possible before it’s built, or shipping products to the world that our users love.

What we expect from you:
You will be part of a cross-functional team and own your design process in close collaboration with our lead UX designer.
You are a generalist with a “good enough” mentality. You are comfortable with completing tasks spanning the entire design process; from supporting user research, to concept development, wireframing, prototyping and testing, all the way to final UI.
You will generate multiple solutions to user problems, ranging from small optimisations to complete restructurings of user experience.
You design pragmatically, and gather help from the team to determine what scope is appropriate.
You are able to Full leverage iZettle platform capabilities and processes to create, document, and communicate designs.
You are able to Integrate business constraints into design decisions, maintaining relevancy, and quality.
You enjoy experimentation and leveraging data as a tool to learn, grow, and guide understanding.
You are able to think through complex interaction design and systems, rather than feature by feature.
You are able to work cross-organisationally building relationships with stakeholders, domains and teams from iZettle and PayPal, contributing to the overall Backoffice platform strategy and product direction.
You will work in close collaboration with our Design System Team designers to understand, implement and improve our Backoffice design system.
