As a Lead Product Manager on the Digital Identity team, you will be responsible for building the roadmap to expand PayPal's wallet beyond financial services and into digital identities for some of our key verticals. As the economy evolves to be more and more digital, a need has emerged globally for consumers to have a digital form of identity that they can access conveniently and securely to thrive in various forms of commerce and services online and offline. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is excited to focus on new and innovative solutions and wade into the details of problem discovery. Ideally you have experience along the value chain of payments and commerce and the relationships with identity, fraud and regulatory functions. The right candidate will be adept at collaborating with a variety of teams and stakeholders, , prioritizing activities, and following through in a fast and fluid working environment. As a lead product manager in PayPal's Digital Identity and Authentication team, you will be part of a group of product, engineering and data science leaders focusing on the full identity lifecycle of PayPal accounts from onboarding to authentication and fraud management and to the focus of this role: building innovative new experiences to for users to manage and share their verified identity using the PayPal wallet.

This role requires someone can thrive and adapt in a rapidly emerging global digital identity world with experience of how identity, in all its forms, is a critical part of online and offline value chains for commerce, payments and more. The ideal candidate wants to build something from the ground up and can easily context switch between research, requirement gathering, solution design and road-mapping to contribute to and unblock critical steps in building out this product.

We are looking for people who can:

  • Lead the long-term vision and strategy for the domain in partnership with key cross-functional leaders and stakeholders
  • Works with product planning and development on new products, current product enhancements, and ensuring product differentiation in the market.
  • Communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions across a wide spectrum of audiences from partner teams to executive levels. Ensure that key leadership & stakeholders are aligned on proper priorities, opportunities, and progress on key initiatives
  • Evaluates business opportunities to optimize the product portfolio through analysis and understanding of targeted markets, market trends, customer business issues, and the competitive landscape.
  • Take a data-centric approach to prioritizing and measuring new features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in Product Management with prior experiences working with UX, engineering and GTM functions
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and manage a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Able to guide individuals with different personalities and styles to a common outcome.
  • Effective communication skills: ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • High degree of organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Obsessed with delivering value to customers.
  • Proven track record of delivering products and features in a timely fashion with high quality.
  • Confident in decision-making, providing concise, clear, direct communication
