PayPal is seeking an HR Reporting Analyst to join the PayPal’s HR Business Intelligence team. This position will provide data insights for key People initiatives support PayPal and People organizational functions. The successful candidate will be comfortable with manipulating large data sets, working across various teams and levels of seniority. They will be required to work autonomously and professionally to meet tight deadlines, while striving to deliver an excellent level of customer service. This role would be ideal for an individual who is proactive, able to manage their time and workload effectively and has a great level of attention to detail, with a passion for using data to drive decision making in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing the weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduled reports, including Executive Management Information and Workforce Metrics in an accurate and timely manner  
  • Working with all levels of stakeholders from across the business, to understand reporting requirements and consulting with them to help understand what is possible from People Business Intelligence team
  • The Workday Sr. Systems/Reporting Analyst role is to plan, coordinate, and develop complex reports, and perform all the technical activities related to Operational and Analytics Reporting in Workday
  • Serve as the Workday reporting and dashboard subject matter expert Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies Work with business partners and Workday subject matter experts to document report requirements, design, develop and deliver Workday reports using Workday’s report writing tools
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives to ensure successful implementation and on-going success
  • Supporting the effort of data integrity and data governance
  • On-going review and improvement of reporting processes to standardise and align techniques across all reporting teams

Required qualifications

  • Advanced SQL Knowledge ( Oracle , Teradata )
  • Experience with Tableau Required
  • Experience with Workday Reporting Required - subject matter expert Develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer
  • Experience with Salesforce Reporting preferred
  • Solid understanding of relational databases
  • A customer focused individual with proven experience in delivering complex analysis within short time frames, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, and  takes ownership of day-to-day activities,  seeing deliverables through to completion
  • Strive for a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the work they deliver
  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment, while performing well under pressure
  • Able to successfully learn new tools and platforms
  • Bachelor’s Degree
