PayPal is seeking a strategic, business-oriented, and data-driven leader to join its Global Revenue Operations & Enablement group supporting the Enterprise Sales (ES) segment globally. This leader will oversee the sales ops function for the ES segment with a focus on driving consistent, best-in-class sales ops capabilities enabling predictable revenue growth at scale across Enterprise Sales teams. This leader will be responsible for leading the Revenue Operations & Enablement Business Partner teams in North America, Australia, Europe and Growth markets and will be instrumental in tracking overall ES performance, in shaping decision making, and in driving improvements in customer experiences for the overall ES segment. As the leader in this global team, this individual will provide strategic directions, analytical recommendations, and vital insights to leaders within both the Revenue Operations & Enablement and ES organizations which will further drive overall strategy and best-in-class operation for PayPal’s global sales organization. This leader will focus on advancing his/her teams’ capabilities, creating “best-in-class” performance measurement frameworks, integrating cutting-edge solutions, and developing close partnerships with key stakeholders. In so doing, he/she will ensure the ES organization enables business growth through highly effective operating practices. This executive will develop an outcome-oriented strategy incorporating differentiated tactical solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a strategic business partner to the leaders of the Enterprise Sales (ES) Organizations across North America, Australia, Europe, and Growth (Intl.) markets.
  • Manage teams responsible for sales operations interactions and coordinate business planning process as part of managing the operating rhythms for the ES teams.
  • Identify bottlenecks and create forward looking capacity models to support short-term as well as long-term global business expansion.
  • Build knowledge repositories with the help of Sales Enablement team to address learning and training gaps across Enterprise Sales.
  • Partner with sales management to oversee day-to-day process execution and adherence to policies. Identify systemic issues & process bottlenecks and recommend/take corrective actions across ES and Revenue Operations & Enablement organizations while influencing cross-functional teams to take similar remedial actions.
  • Lead sales forecasting, planning, and operations processes within the ES organization. Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s overall planning & operations related efforts.
  • Plan and execute the tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness: sales model/processes/methodologies, competencies, productivity metrics, quota planning, compensation plan design, coverage model, territory design, lead generation management, departmental communications.
  • Create and administer new sales process needed for contracting, pricing, compliance, reporting or compensation in conjunction with the cross-functional teams at PayPal
  • Manage and provide inputs to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentives and compensation programs for ES organization.
  • Support the equitable assignment of sales quotas and ensure quotas are optimally allocated across ES resources.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments by understanding the sales model and ensuring the integrity of information available through various system and reporting structures.
  • Assist in the development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business processes and data.
  • Provide overall support and departmental coordination for Global Sales Operation’s team inquiries, ad-hoc requests, and strategic as well as BAU projects.
  • Mentor, coach, advise and level up Revenue Operations & Enablement ES talent and groom next generation of Revenue Operations & Enablement leaders.

Job Requirements:

  • 15+ years of management experience in Sales Operations focused functions
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Management/Operations Strategy or Computer Sciences from accredited university
  • MBA degree from a top tier globally recognized business school will be preferred.
  • Solid strategic planning skills combined with exceptional execution capabilities.
  • Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales cycle, salesforce.com, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas).
  • Clear strategic thinker with vision and with the ability to execute on priorities.
  • Strong project managements skills including scheduling, workstream management, risk management, status reporting and resource management.
