If that describes you, keep reading for more details about this position. Responsible for a comprehensive sales effectiveness agenda supporting North America Business Lending Sales Team. Plays an active role working closely with inside sales leadership as well as individual sales representatives. This role is charged to develop and train to sales best practice programs, initiatives, implementation plans and tools that drive business results. This role directly reports to the Head of Sales for the Business Financing Solutions business unit and is tasked with creating a constant feedback loop employing tools and content to have our sellers working at the top of their game, while promoting sales culture and process. This is a Full-time, Exempt role.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages and organizes all initiatives associated with the ongoing learning, development and sales effectiveness. This includes onboarding, training events, sales tools and resources, communication, sales playbook.
  • Must be able to develop followership with Sales Managers and Representatives. This is a Sr. Manager level position, with the potential for increased professional and leadership growth opportunity supporting a very fast growing business unit within PayPal.
  • Manage and Develop tools and resources to support processes/practices. Communicates and at times influences others to gain organizational "buy in" for processes/practices across multiple levels.
  • Develops mechanisms to define, measure and assess the adoption and impact related to the effectiveness of sales processes/practices.
  • Integrates understanding of sales management tools and systems into sales processes, practices and learning and development foundation. Engage with various outside vendors to supplement and enhance the sales strategy, as appropriate. Sales Training - Development, Delivery, and Follow-through Develop and deliver sales training programs/workshops that address business needs and result in sustainable and long-term sales behavioral improvement.
  • Develops workshops, with clear learning objectives, relevant content, interactive elements, overall design, and post-evaluation.
  • Delivers engaging and practical sales training that is relevant to various participant job requirements.
  • Develops and deliver sales coaching and performance management training.

Position Requirements

  • Must have sales training experience. Inside Sales a plus.
  • Desirable to also have consultative value based selling experiences.
  • Experience with delivering training modules.
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional roles, fostering a high performing sales culture across the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans at the organizational level, including key milestones, enrolling key leaders in that process.
  • Strong personal drive, a self-starter who can take guidance and run with the agenda. Well organized with ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives concurrently and deliver quality in a timely manner.
  • Has a track record of being an inspiring leader with an inclusive approach who has built followership at all levels across an organization including their peer group and direct report teams
  • Must have the desire and demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
