We are looking for a Rewards Analyst with relevant experience to join our Global Rewards team. In this role, you will play an important role in strengthening our regulatory compensation framework for our EMEA regulated institutions. You will be also involved in daily compensation and benefits activities as well supporting the annual review process. As a team Member of our PayPal Global Rewards team, you will have opportunities to contribute to various global projects and initiatives in a fast paced environment. The position is based in Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute against a schedule of ongoing remuneration compliance activities (review of identified staff lists, remuneration policy provision updates, regulatory report filings, etc.)
  • Prepare reports, exhibits and other materials to support Board and Remuneration Committee meetings and decisions
  • Monitor changes in the legal or regulatory environment potentially impacting PayPal’s rewards programs
  • Model compensation plans and pay decisions that evaluate financial impact to the business and ensure compliance
  • Support the annual compensation planning program to ensure decisions support PayPal’s pay-for-performance philosophy and are compliant with all legal requirements
  • Act as escalation point for the People Operations team and resolve compensation and benefit practice and policy related issues
  • Support the management of benefits
  • Contribute to various projects and initiatives in support of PayPal’s global total rewards programs

    Requirements

  • University degree in related discipline
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, preferably in the Rewards field and in regulated financial institutions
  • Affinity with compliance, risk and regulatory considerations. Knowledge of EU regulations governing financial institution remunerations is considered as a strong advantage
  • Adaptable and comfortable shifting between high-level design/consulting work and operational work
  • Very high attention to detail
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Good communication skills, ability to interact with internal customers, including Senior Management
  • Fluency in English is required
