As we continue our quest to democratize financial services, we are now looking for an inspiring QA engineer to join one of our Teams shaping up Zettle's Payments solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a group of passionate people (product managers, app- developers and many more) working on making our Merchants' everyday experience best-in-class. A glimpse of what you would get here

Part of our Money Alliance, our team is working on an innovative payment solution in our SDK to allow our merchants to make card payments in Zettle apps and partner apps. You'll be in close contact with other engineers and designers to create a tailored user experience for our merchants and partners. It's important that you understand API design and how to consume them, but don't worry, the team will be there to help you out. Who you are

You are proactive and solution focused. You take technical ownership to make important decisions.
You have a “can-do” attitude and are interested in collaborating closely within your team to build and maintain the feature in our SDK. Grounded and humble, you consider open communication and transparency as great core values for a company culture. You share your knowledge, experience, and opinions without ever losing sight of the importance for everyone to have a chance to contribute to the team's success. You have strong analytical skills and technical understanding of product development and underlying system architecture. Lastly, you make it fun.

Hard skills

  • Solid knowledge of functional testing of apps (incl. feature/regression, usability, E2E and manual exploratory testing) on iOS and Android
  • Good knowledge of apps release process and app distribution
  • Basic understanding of iOS and Android development (incl. building and installing apps)
  • Can understand architecture of products including client and server-side components
  • Hands on experience of Unix and bash scripting
  • Good knowledge and hands on experience of the following Tools:
    • Git and GitHub
    • ADB and Android Studio
    • Xcode
    • TestFlight
    • Firebase
    • Gradle, Maven
    • Jira
    • Splunk

We would be happy if you had

  • Understanding of concept of CI/CD and test automation framework
  • Good knowledge of Java, Kotlin or Swift
  • Fintech/banking industry knowledge
  • Basic understanding of backend development
  • Knowledge of API testing.
