The Global Financial Crimes and Customer Protection organization is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated individual to ensure the success of critical GFCCP technology initiatives and enhancements, and to facilitate alignment and coordination across the various teams within GFCCP and product development organization. Product Business Individual will report directly to the Head of GFCCP Technology Strategy Enablement.

The successful candidate will play a requirement gathering, coordination and support role in the successful development and implementation of technology solutions across the program. The individual will be responsible for deeply learning the various business processes across different GFCCP groups, leading the envisioning sessions with business stakeholders, converting the high-level user requests into detailed requirements documents and the associated process maps, and communicating the vision and details to the technology stakeholders. The individual will also be involved in system demos, sourcing the SME feedback, aligning with the technology teams on the implementation progress and communicating status updates to the leadership. The individual will also support the operational readiness process for the software release by organizing the UAT process, scheduling and leading the UAT calls, writing UAT test case and guiding the other testers on the UAT best practices, sourcing the UAT results and change requests, and tracking their completion by the technology teams. They will also provide any operational support associated with technology releases.

The individual will gain full understanding of tool functionalities and processes across GFCCP to effectively address escalations and to fully support the team when breakdowns occur. For the software products in production, the individual will be an internal point of contact for technology related issues in their area of business, track the issues along with the remediation plans and ensure there is not a negative impact by technology solutions to the teammates performance. They will identify and selectively escalate issues to leaders to aid in issue resolution.

Beyond supporting the activities associated with the Software Development Life Cycle, the individual will support various technology related projects. They will develop relationships across multiple domains and partners, drive initiatives, track adherence to the timelines and priorities and be an active and engaging partner both for business and technology contacts.

This role requires a self-starter with the ability to independently operate with a sense of urgency while managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline driven environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Key project coordination point of contact for technical teams and active participant in all meetings and technology working sessions
  • Identify and escalate issues to GFCCP technology oversight leaders. Oversee documentation of issues as well as the development of remediation plans
  • Provide support in the development of projects related to both internal tools and external sites/software/vendors.
  • Coordinate and participate in requirement gathering on new tools projects/ enhancements, ensure that clear and precise business requirements are delivered to technical partners
  • Gain full understanding of tool functionalities and processes across GFCCP to effectively address escalations and to fully support the team when breakdowns occur

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Knowledge and prior experience with supporting technology initiatives
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology a plus
  • Six Sigma certification a plus
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML laws, regulations surrounding money service businesses, industry guidance and best practices is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
