The Global Financial Crime and Consumer Protection (GFCCP) Governance & Planning team are responsible for facilitating operational oversight to provide alignment and consistency across GFCCP stakeholders and ensure an efficient, cost-effective and best-in-class compliance program. The Program Governance Director will oversee GFCCP over-arching initiatives to accomplish organizational objectives, develop solutions to program challenges and enhancements to processes and procedures. The role will assist with business development initiatives inclusive of coordination of due diligence and Integration phases of Mergers & Acquisitions, annual risk and compliance plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide alignment on top-down vision, goals and objectives from business strategy flowing through to successful completion of projects for program objectives.
  • Develop the plan to orchestrate projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and control.
  • Provide ongoing performance assessment, research and development of new capabilities, and systematically applying knowledge for program success.
  • Maintain a viewpoint across the program of resources and synergies.
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop process improvement programs and support their deployment/delivery.
  • Lead global transformation strategies, including coordination of work streams, strategy design, planning, and execution;
  • Work with a global team of leaders supporting operational needs and strategies, such as new product and program expansions;
  • Establish KPIs and other metrics with key stakeholders and senior leaders, such as performance metrics and underlying data;
  • Skilled communicator both orally and in drafting effective presentations.
  • Capable of leading teams both formally and informally;
  • Able to work in a highly matrixed organizational structure.

Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years in a program management role ideally with experience from companies in the fields of FinTech, Money Transfers, digital currencies.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering).
  • A high performing professional with BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field.
  • Ideally tech savvy with knowledge in the world of cryptocurrencies.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects. Excellent organization and communication skills. Strong relationship builder, who has the ability to foster and manage productive relationships with lower and senior executive level sponsors.
