With PayPal’s Identity Risk Lifecycle team, you’ll work with world-class product managers, strategists, and engineers to shape, improve, and amplify the authentication platform and experiences that protects our customer accounts from fraud and enabling seamless re-securing experiences. We are looking for passionate, data-driven decision-makers who can mine data, evangelize insights drawn from the data analysis, and work with engineering partners to build a world-class authentication platform.

(1) Integration and Platform Capabilities

  • Define a platform integration strategy/roadmap identifying and prioritizing new opportunities.
  • Understand Integration needs 
  • Be able to assimilate and synthesize the needs of Risk Management and Analytics into a core set of common Platform Capabilities and services. 
  • Own the entire product line life cycle from inception, strategic planning, delivery to live launch, post launch tracking and ongoing product management, enhancement, and development
  • Develop business and product requirement documents to meet product strategies

 (2) Collaboration

  • Work with the other Risk Product managers, policy and analytic Groups across the globe to help them understand services capabilities and enable them to build or leverage existing Solutions.
  • Consult with other groups within the Risk Organization to decipher sources of risk and loss and find solutions
  • Collaborate with other product managers and business owners to define the business goals and metrics

(3) Communication

  • Lead project teams of engineers, and designers to ensure that the product solution delivers to requirements and meets business needs
  • Present business case, product roadmaps, and strategies to key stakeholders and executives
  • The candidate should bring a high level of enthusiasm to the projects, the ability to organize and motivate large groups and a high degree of passion for technology
  • Product Management experience or related field with significant experience in the consumer internet or Software as a Service space preferred
  • Experience working with API sets and services. Understanding of web technologies, XML, relational databases
  • Ability to define and deliver core Platforms that Business Solutions can leverage
  • Analytical, problem solver, strategic planning, leadership, project management and execution, communication with diverse audiences and stakeholders, (written, verbal, and oral)
  • Demonstrated track record managing all aspects of a successful software or technology product throughout its lifecycle,
  • Technical knowledge in using data to build statistical detection models or rules a strong plus

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree is a must. Preferably in a quantitative or technical field.

- Masters degree or MBA preferred
