We are looking for a passionate, innovative and self-driven Cybersecurity Architect, who can influence large cross-functional teams, solve for complex problems, and develop security products as part of the Enterprise Cyber Security team. The Cybersecurity Architect will have responsibilities to partner and collaborate across organizations, leading cross-functional teams to identifying and solving complex problem statements. Lead strategic initiatives and build innovative security products that will delight our customers, while protecting the PayPal brand, securing safety and trust across all products & services globally.   • Lead and align teams to functional and unit mission.
  • Guide and lead cross-functional teams with secure by design principles.
  • Adaptive communications and approaches to influence others to drive alignment and adoption of new ideas & concepts.

  • Analyze complex scenarios, anticipate potential problems and future trends.
  • Assess threats, risks while balancing opportunities and impacts.
  • Research and design security products and solutions.

  • Socialize and advocate for new ideas and drive changes & adoption across Developer and Product teams.

  • Responsible for defining metrics to measure success and opportunities.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years experience as technical security leader at a large, global company in dynamic and fast-changing markets.
  • Deep subject matter expertise in information security and cybersecurity risk management.
  • Experience with influencing large software engineering and security engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply cybersecurity principles to build security products for an evolving threat landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing security technology and programs.
  • Experience in global financial services and security technology industries.
  • Excellent teaching, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Innovative and thought leadership, architectural mindset & comprehensive approach, implementation skills. Ability to define security, technical and business requirements with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex business problems, prioritize risks, and assess for solutions to eliminate and reduce threats in a systemic approach.
  • Strong orientation towards action and making recommendations based on data, and ability to align functional teams to recommendations.
  • Develop the business, information, and technical artifacts that constitute the enterprise security architecture, solutions and products.
