• Develop partners in cross board online trade (CBT) ecosystem market •Identify potential partners and related service or solution in CBT value chain e.g. sourcing, e-commerce solution, online marketing, marketplace, payment and logistic, etc. •Develop all tiers partnership for different merchants segments (from SP merchants, SMB to LM) •Achieve finance goal: Acquire PayPal new merchants to achieve new active merchants amount budget and related revenue budget (new merchants development) • Existing partners management •Manage existing partner service or solution higher quality •Co-work with partners to develop tailor made product or solution for PayPal CBT merchants which could be scaled up and improve E2E consumer experience and support BU initiatives to drive active merchants amount and TPA (traction per active merchants) • Actively explore online XB business merchants/ industry / market need & trend •Approach LMs (Large Merchants)/SMB (Small Medium Business)/SP(Sole Proprietor) merchants or collaborate with BD/RM/BC(Business Consultant)/OPs (Operation) team to collect and analysis their business needs •Understand industry / market trend and help to get right direction to define proper partnership category at early stage

  • Distributors / resellers partnership development  - identify / acquire / manage partner to build PayPal product distribution business
    • Help PayPal quick access into vertical market e.g. OTA/Digital goods (Gaming) through solution partners
    • Acquire large amount of new active merchants
    • Distribute PayPal products massively  
  • Initiating ideas targeted to increase overall revenues with high efficiency / scalable / sustainable approach
  • Partnership related BD (business development) and RM (relation management) role - identify/ acquire/manage new partnership/existing partnership
    • Identify partners who

      have competitive and easily scalable service/ their services are valuable to online XB business merchants

      could help PayPal service quickly reach massive merchants

    • Drive new partners on-boarding in time 

      Commercial process with partners (underwriting  & compliance process, exclusive deal for PayPal merchants / rev share/SLA/ PayPal partners product integration)

      Service introduction and training to PayPal internal teams

      Any technical integration with PayPal product or OSS portal

    • Lead/ drive new partners going through legal/compliance/underwriting process
    • Package various partners deal into various package to target different merchants segment (LMs/SMB/SP) or new merchants
    • Monitor/ track/ manage partners performance (service quality/ integrity) in all kinds of campaign programs
    • Build partnership inter-partners and create solution to overcome some critical barriers, e.g. cost, technology. Then it could achieve multiple winning situation to PayPal and related partners.

    • Partner churn management
    • Manage existing partner service or solution higher quality
    • Co-marketing campaign program with partner
    • Co-work with partners to develop tailor made product or solution for PayPal CBT merchants which could be scaled up and improve E2E consumer experience and support BU initiatives to drive active merchants amount and TPA (traction per active merchants)
  • Identify high potential new merchants, manage high potential merchants on-boarding process, have early and directly engagement and facilitate merchants ramp up co-working with partners and internal cross functional teams

Cross team co-work scope

  • Collaborate with integration team, compliance team and finance team to facilitate new partner on-boarding process
  • Collaborate with marketing team and regional or global partners team to design regular and seasonal campaign programs with direct impact on revenue
    • Co work closely with internal marketing team (online marketing and offline marketing) closely to ensure having proper campaign design / planning /execution / tracking 
    • Interacting closely with partners to provide competitive campaign offering /manage campaign execution and delivery in high quality
    • Build campaign dash board to track campaign / partner performance regularly and  report both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with BD/RM/BC/Ops team closely to promote valuable partners service/ key channel initiatives
    • Cross team communication/ training/collaboration process setup
    • Drive other team promotion effort and manage their performance

Job requirement

Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and education required to perform job.

Prefer to have BD/ partner management/ channel management work experience from

CBT merchants / Marketplace (MP) / Online MKT / Internet Payment / IT solution or service / E commerce solution companies

Leading online MKT companies (Facebook/ Google or related agency)

Leading CBT merchants / Marketplace (Amazon, AE and Alibaba international etc.)

Leading global IT solution / IT service companies (IBM/Oracle/Microsoft)

B2B/B2C shopping cart Solution Company (cloud service/ BS (browser server) / CS (client server) structure (Magento, Zen cart, Shopify, Woo commerce, Big commerce etc.

E commerce role in leading logistic companies (DHL/TNT/UPS/Fedex)
