In this role you are responsible for the acquisition and further development of new partnerships in the PayPal - Zettle ecosystem.


  • Accountable to establish and maintain commercial partnerships through which we acquire new merchants, with the goal of generating revenue.   
  • Partner relationships end-to-end, from finding and onboarding new potential partnerships, to ongoing management of existing partners who have a commercial agreement signed with us.  
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of our various products (Zettle and PayPal) to prospective partners. 
  • Contract creation with partners. Assist our legal department with relevant information. Meaning: terms, compensations models, marketing activities and goals  
  • Set up and manage tracking and the success of the partners together with Partner Operations team. Create and conduct analysis on the state of partnerships and partner success.    
  • Accountable for creating a 12-month partnership management plan including partner KPIs, partner marketing initiatives and frequent evaluations with the partners.  
  • Produce and present a quarterly forecast.   
  • Partner Manager is expected to be up to date on both internal and industry developments to find, execute and manage partners successfully.  
  • Expected to collaborate within our organization to improve business processes with regards to Partnerships  
  • Responsible for representing our team and company in a structured, constructive, and professional way to merchants, partners, and colleagues. 


  • Experience in Sales and Business Development ideally in the POS payment vertical working in dynamic, fast paced & results orientated organizations.
  • Knowledge of payment processing, credit card merchant accounts, and the needs of in store POS Partners is preferred. 
  • Exceptional consultative sales skills with a passion & hunger for PayPal and to succeed.
  • Results oriented, self motivated & a “hands on” person with proven ability to meet objectives & targets.
  • Think creatively, sell strategically and communicate effectively.
  • Proven success in business development and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and presentation skills required.
