The Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and managing all marketing programs from demand generation to sales enablement for select partners that provide product and services for Mid-Market (medium business) merchants. Example partners include Magento, BigCommerce and Miva.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and execute integrated and scalable Marketing programs.
  • Develop joint marketing programs that produce leads and referrals for our partners and PayPal.
  • Develop content strategy and editorial calendar in conjunction with Merchant Marketing teams, digital, PR and Social teams.
  • Develop compelling materials for our internal sales teams and at the partner to drive customer demand for our joint solutions.
  • Manage agencies to develop content. Scope of content could include: whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, info graphics, landing pages, emails and social media copy.
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage PayPal or partner assets to achieve partnership goals.
  • Promote the value proposition of PayPal to partners and evangelize partner value and partner capabilities within PayPal. Be the voice of the partner: advocate for your partners, ensure team and strategy are focus.
  • Create annual and quarterly plans for joint-marketing activities – goal setting, execution, and measurement of the return on investment is crucial.
  • Identify and track relevant metrics of success and best practices.
  • Work and collaborate cross-functionally with Channel, Small Business, Brand, Product, PR and others to execute programs.
