The PayPal Customer Success Organization is looking for a Strong mobile development Engineer to join its Customer Self Service Solutions team .This team is responsible for design and develop self service solutions to provide assistance that enables the customers to successfully use PayPal products . We are a strategic part of the PayPal business plan to enable operational efficiencies and revenue enablement through selfservice opportunities through chatbot, Voice, Contextual Help and NLP Management. As a member of this team, you will assist us in building the world class Self service solutions by leveraging PayPal Platforms/products. Job Responsibilities:

  • Someone that’s expert on iOS app development and/or Android development.
  • Supports native iOS app development by converting ideas, designs, and requirements into concrete, stable, and scalable production builds.
  • Develop and maintain high performing, reusable Java and Kotlin code
  • Someone with great attention to detail, innovative thought process and customer champion mind set.
  • Works with product, project, and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule that solve our customers’ problems. 
  • Follow coding standards and guidelines with great attention on security, performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Collaborates with Engineering and QA teams to resolve bugs and reduce tech-debt.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a team to define, design, implement, test, release, and support software applications for PayPal.
  • Work with product owners to define and refine the technical needs during grooming and planning meetings.
  • Define and devise processes, tools, and methodologies to achieve excellence in software development, testing and deployment.
  • Stay current with the newest mobile technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations and future directions.
  • Skilled at writing Unit and Automation tests

Job Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field is preferred, with Android and/or iOS development experience.
  • Highly competent solid hands-on experience enterprise grade mobile applications.
