PayPal is looking for a leader to help implement key talent initiatives across PayPal in partnership with HR Leaders and cross-functional partners. The role will leverage technology and data to understand talent needs and areas of focus. Additionally, this role will support the implementation of Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, diversity efforts and career & individual development for assigned business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving talent management and development initiatives for assigned business unit
  • Identify, assess and track current needs in alignment with talent strategy
  • Execute succession and talent planning efforts that ensure teams have the talent needed to deliver on their strategy
  • Partner with human resources teams and business leaders to implement engagement and inclusion strategies.
  • Create specific milestones and goals to deliver key talent initiatives for the business unit
  • Ensure effective partnership with the broader talent and HR teams to provide timely delivery of services and to support client group requirements
  • Leverage employee listening system and other data insights to make talent recommendations that drive culture and engagement and improves organizational performance
  • Foster a climate of inclusion and belonging where diverse thoughts are freely shared and integrated to develop plans and solutions that are best suited to the circumstances
  • Develop & implement communications, project management plans and executive updates
  • Identify and drive synergies and best practice sharing across Talent Partner book of work

Requirements

  • Expertise in the delivery of key talent and HR disciplines – talent assessment, succession, development, learning, coaching and/or diversity.
  • Successful track record of partnership, communication and influencing.
  • Strong technical and analytics aptitude.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to set a strategic plan and aligned desired outcomes to execute multi-year talent strategies
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, global ambiguous environment with a passion for solving problems while being resourceful
  • Experience utilizing analytics & insights to inform plans and drive outcomes.
  • 7+ years’ experience in any of the key domain areas:  Human Resources, Executive Development, Talent, Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion or Engagement
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
