As a Software Development Manager in compliance platform team, you will grow and develop a high-performing team. You will learn a variety of cutting-edge technologies and develop well-rounded leadership skills. • Manage a diverse engineering team of backend Java developers • Management and execution against project roadmap, project plans and delivery commitments. • Foster an environment that combines debate, collaboration, honesty, and a strong focus on results • Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile environment • Lead by example and willing and able to dive into the code yourself, lead design sessions and drive outcomes • Be accountable for the team's code quality by performing code reviews and promoting and aligning with company engineering standard methodologies (TDD, CI/CD) • Improve, measure and adhere to overall software development life cycle. • Plan and support career development of the engineers through continuous coaching and mentoring. • Excited to partner with the business to solve both large new features/projects as well as daily, small product enhancements • Lead architectural discussions for projects, as well as troubleshoot issues, with the team and across technical partners, providing resource and timeline estimates and also track progress to deliverables


  • Atleast 2+ years professional software engineering manager experience
  • 8+ years of hand on software development experience using Java.
  • Computer Science bachelor's degree, relevant technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to lead directly and through influence to drive execution of strategy in a global organization with competing priorities
  • Possesses strong operational and project management experience, driving exceptional results every day.
  • Experience and knowledge with helping team develop and automate code testing, within high test coverage.
  • Skilled in API frameworks, micro-service architecture and CI/CD tools.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams supporting multiple business functions.
  • Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
