The PMM team is setup to drive product commercial success in partnership with global Product, Marketing and Sales teams. PMMs ensure product success by deeply understanding and consistently championing the needs of the customer as a representative voice in all discussions and decisions, ensuring product and feature releases solve tangible customer pain points. Within the PMM team, the Product Marketing Manager (SMB) will work across a number of strategic projects and be integral to inbound (voice of customer) and outbound (GTM) activities related to characterizing SMB customer needs and driving great products into the SMB sales channel and customer base globally. A highly motivated individual, they will be a self-starter and contribute to the team’s expertise, moving PayPal to a world class product marketing discipline that captures and acts upon customer insights and trends – championing the customer and executing flawlessly.

The Product Marketing Manager (SMB) will focus on a variety of SMB initiatives to deliver a steady stream of customer and competitive insights, identify evolving merchant trends, architect the segment, and orchestrate the launch and scale of innovative new products globally. The role requires a strong understanding of SMB customer needs, and of the PayPal sales channels to reach those customers. The role also requires the Manager to have strong PMM craft skills and methodologies, in order to distill and evolve best practices and approaches.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

  • Product Marketing or a similar discipline
  • Creating impactful GTM strategies and driving results
  • Knowledge of SMB
  • Executing complex programs through a matrix organization

The Manager will also contribute and help to drive the culture within the team.
