The Venmo Credit Card Product team is responsible for the Venmo Credit Card product. The Senior Product Manager (PM) will be responsible for managing, designing, and building world-class credit product features and experiences. The PM will be responsible for: • managing the entire life cycle of products from product design, solution design, to build, and implementation • the performance of product and the KPI’s related to his/her product. The PM will be tasked to identify opportunities to improve the product and manage KPI’s. • working closely with multi-functional areas across Venmo and PayPal, including business and marketing partners, legal, compliance, UED and risk • managing backlogs and determining roadmap prioritization, writing stories, and other typical agile processes. • working closely with dev teams in an agile environment.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product manager with a successful track record of:
 

  • Collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders (e.g. credit business partners, legal, ops, risk/compliance, UX designers, user research, internal product managers, etc.)
  • Defining product requirements and leading the successful execution of initiatives
  • Engaging closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation/design while balancing time-to-market needs.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams and external partners to design, build, launch, and market new payment capabilities
  • Using A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making
  • Defining and proactively monitoring key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions. 
  • Engaging in problem solving with analytics to determine trends and root causes.
  • Partnering with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries.
  • Defining a product launch plan for your area, including identifying new opportunities as well as maintaining a rolling marketing roadmap of projects or iterations.

Minimum Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a BS/BA is required
  • 4 – 6 years of professional experience
  • Experienced product manager with a minimum of 3-5 years of product experience
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
  • History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, uncertain environments
  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product decisions
  • Ability to lead cross-functional groups and drive action
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong understanding of business KPI’s and the ability to drive them
  • Experience in an agile development environment
