Manager EMEA Indirect Taxes (VAT)

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive in-house or Bigv4 VAT consulting experience, with focus on advisory and controversy management.
  • Extensive knowledge of EU VAT Law and understanding of complex VAT concepts with the ability to complete legal research; apply interpretations to relevant facts and communicate recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
  • Strong project management skillset vital for end-to-end process development and deployment.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; must be flexible, adaptable, and inventive.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to engage in, prioritize, and perform multiple ongoing tasks.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with applications such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferred JD, Master in Tax
  • Required Accounting, Business Administration or Finance BS.
  • 6 or more years of relevant EU VAT experience, either in a Big Four advisory firm or in a multinational corporation.  
  • Preferred VAT experience in financial services.
