We are hiring for a Manager, HR Data Products who will lead a team to develop and deliver data products to drive HR strategy via People Insights at PayPal

Responsibilities

Our team helps to power PayPal’s HR organization and broader senior leadership by delivering actionable insights, data products and people business intelligence at scale. Our customers include HR Ops, HR Leadership, People Analytics, Global Talent, Compensation, Biz Ops, Finance and executive leadership team.

In this role, you will lead a team to develop data products and custom applications to provide people insights at scale and automate HR processes. You will set and execute on a vision that reflects your analytical, design thinking and product expertise. You will be a thought partner to our key customer teams. You will partner with these teams to understand the insights they require on an ongoing basis and develop and launch solutions that meet their needs at scale.

You are analytical, have great attention to detail and excel at defining scope, managing stakeholder expectations, passionate about data and love building data products. You will have exposure and visibility to HR leadership, PayPal executives and other crossfunctional teams, as you work with them to understand their needs and promote solutions that your team develops.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, engineering, product management or equivalent analytical and project management experience

• Experience in managing a team of UI/UX designers, application engineers and data engineers directly or indirectly to develop data applications

• Experience in managing BI/analytics projects from inception to delivery

• User focused with design thinking mindset and experience with visualizations, dashboards, and reports

• Familiarity with data modeling and data science techniques

• Adept at explaining technical concepts to varied audiences and translating business objectives into product specs

• Experience with Tableau/SQL
