The position is based within the Legal team. You will be part of a thrilling and complex project that allows you to gain great insights into a global company.

You will be working on the main phase of a global integration project that will cover a great number of European and non-European legal and regulatory questions and bring you in contact with many people within PayPal as well as outside of PayPal. You will work closely together with the lawyer leading the integration project for Legal, participate in meetings and assist in all workstreams that Legal is involved in.

Position is limited for the duration of the main integration phase which will be up to 12 months.





Legal Project Manager, M&A Integration (m/f)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support with project-managing the legal integration work and coordinate with other functions while understanding the implications for legal workstreams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders. Take accountability for tasks and create trust when interacting with others
  • Attend meetings within the legal team and with other functions, prepare meeting summaries and help following-up on open tasks
  • Prepare presentations, reporting documentation
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and projects as required
  • Review material provided by other functions
  • Coordinate work, timelines and responsibilities with outside counsel
  • Assist with general organizational and administrative tasks

The successful candidate will have the specific qualifications and experience:

  • Master or equivalent
  • Understanding of and interest in legal topics
  • Very good intellectual and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to agile methods. Use existing frameworks and structures
  • Excellent communicator, very well organized, precise and strong team player
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, with effective resolution of conflicting priorities
  • Strong sense of responsibility and high levels of commitment and integrity
  • Very good English language skills
