We are looking for a full stack developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
As a full stack developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

- Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
- Writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
- Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Ability to create test plans, test cases and track resolution of software defects. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Passionate about developing frameworks, reusable code, wants to make a difference.
- Able to evangelize innovations, through prototyping or other means and typically finds solutions to the most challenging framework level bugs and issues.
- Self-motivated and fully committed dynamic individual with ability to adapt and adjust to fast-paced environment
- Strong Problem-solving, analytical mind
Job Requirements
- 8 years of experience developing software as a full-stack developer
- Perform high quality software analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance for the PayPal core technology platform
- Spends most of the time testing, automation , developing code, and efficiently produces elegant, clean code with no unnecessary complication or abstraction
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end technologies (e.g. node.js, Java, Spring)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Able to evangelize innovations, through prototyping or other means and typically finds solutions to the most challenging framework level bugs and issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in Unix based development environment (Unix, Shell, Perl, Python) is a plus
- Experience with unit testing and tools
