As a Lead engineer in the Credit Revolving Products team, you will be responsible to design solutions on the platform for various market segments. You will work closely with product, experience and integration teams to understand the customer needs and deliver the User interface experiences for the Credit card products. You can expect to get better every day and to be constantly challenged with interesting technical problems due to the size, scale and scope of the problems we need to solve. You’ll work in an agile environment with a focus on problem solving and engineering excellence.

Job Responsibilities

-Lead the design and development of large scale distributed platforms & service capabilities.
-Actively work towards developing products that meet high standards of security, scalability, performance and reliability.
-Understand Product constucts and participate in debating solutions for the customer.
-Bring in consistency and optimize experiences across mobile and web application
-Be a hands-on individual contributor, who can design solutions, code them, as well as review the deliverables of other team members.
-Evaluate industry solutions, tools and libraries that can help improve the team's efficiency
-Demonstrate a customer centric mindset as part of day-day work.
-Represent the company in external industry and academic forums.

Job Requirements

- BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in designin/building highly scalable, reliable platforms.
- Strong CS fundamentals, solid knowledge of OOP/OOD, Data Structures, Algorithms, design patterns
Experience working with mockups and making them come to life.  Relevant technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Invision, Sketch, Figma
- Familiar with MVC/MVP software design.  Relevant technologies: Angular, React, Vue, NodeJS
- Have strong foundational knowledge in Client/Server programming, REST API development, GraphQL Interfaces
- Proven track record of delivering results in an aggressive and fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development team
