Our Global Pay Later team in the PayPal Consumer Credit organization is looking for passionate, highly talented, self-driven, and proven iOS Software Engineers to join our team!  

In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, high performance mobile applications using cutting edge technologies for next generation Buy Now Pay Later (e.g., Pay in 4, Pay in 15, Pay Later to Go! , etc.) product suite, and expand core capabilities at global scale to meet ever changing market needs to offer delightful experiences to our customers!  You’ll also obtain practical work experience in high-traffic mission critical applications, learn about PayPal business, and receive mentorship and training sessions to help you get ready to take up new challenges in your career. 


  • Work in a cross-functional scrum team with a specific, well-defined mission to deliver features and services in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Develop the mobile iOS app, converting ideas, designs, and requirements to concrete stable production builds
  • Design and implement solutions for specific use cases that provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused
  • Champion code quality, scalability, maintainability, accessibility, observability, documentation, and automated testing
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, user experience designers, architects and other engineers across teams in translating product requirements into technical solutions that delight our customers


  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field is preferred, with at least 2-4+ years’ professional experience in building and managing iOS mobile applications using Swift and/or Objective-C
  • Solid foundation in computer science concepts, understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, MVC, MVVM, multi-threaded, asynchronous programming
  • Good understanding of Auto layout, Size classes, Core Animation, localization and adaptation
  • Extremely comfortable with understanding and implementing client-side handlers for web services with RESTful services at the backend
  • Experience creating accessible components, including knowledge of ARIA and WCAG conformance.
  • Familiarity with TDD, continuous integration (Jenkins), application monitoring (Crashlytics /, mocking tools (such as Apiary), build tools, Unit testing, and automation testing
  • Strong communication skills. You can work with engineers, designers, product managers, and engineering managers to prioritize work and identify opportunities that will benefit multiple teams.
