PayPal’s Global Collections First Line of Defense team is seeking an Internal Controls Analyst 4 to support the Global Collections & Global Collections FLOD teams through controls development & documentation, process documentation & improvement, and managing issues to resolution. This position will work closely with Global Collections internal stakeholders as well as the Collections Operational Excellence (OE) teams to support the Collections business. The Analyst will be responsible for the creation, documentation, and inventory of product controls. The Analyst will also be responsible for the maintenance of controls and associated processes around controls, as well as assist with managing issues to ensure accurate & timely resolution of said issues within policy standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Global Collections teams to understand and document controls (new and existing), as well as associated processes.
  • Collaborate with internal Collections Strategy team on new controls for initiatives as part of the Policy Governance process
  • Partner with the Collections FLOD Testing and Issues Management Teams to support execution of testing program and ensure remediation plans impacting policy documentation are managed efficiently and timely.
  • Lead meetings with key partners and obtain buy in for controls, and issue resolution.

Job requirements

  • Consumer Credit & Collections Business Experience
  • Relationship Management experience within a compliance and/or consumer banking environment
  • High energy, strong work ethic, action oriented and results driven.
  • Demonstrates the value of being a team player working across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Solid analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong project management skills; prioritization, decisioning and task management skills with attention to detail and a strong focus on deliverables with time limitations.
  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, to provide potential solutions, to track issue status, and to report findings to external partners, peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to interact with technical project leads, developers, quality assurance, and business team members.
  • Proficient in MS OFFICE.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
