  • Javascript、Java、REST APIフレームワークに関する専門知識
  • Webサービス、XML、SOAP、API、NVP、HTTP/HTTPS、HTML、FTP/SFTPなどのWebテクノロジーに関する3年以上の経験
  • 複数の主要なプログラミング言語での4年以上の経験(C++、C、C#、Ruby、Perl、など。NET、PHP、Python)
  • iOSやAndroidアプリケーションフレームワークなどのモバイルテクノロジーでの2年以上の経験
  • 強力なトラブルシューティングとデバッグのスキル
  • テスト・コードおよびサンプルを構築する能力

必要な経験・能力等

  • 全体で5年以上の経験
  • セールス・エンジニアリング、システム・エンジニアリングまたはプロフェッショナル・サービスにおける経験 (Eコマースに携わる企業での経験が望ましい)
  • 決済(クレジットカード、銀行、オンライン、オフライン)の経験、特にEコマースシステム、決済代行、決済処理の経験
  • 社内の関連部門や日本のマーチャント、パートナーとのコミュニケーション能力と、マーチャントの要件や課題を理解し、PayPal製品の最適なソリューションを説明できること
  • 創造的に考え、戦略的に行動し、PayPalの導入プロセスと製品について技術的に精通し、社内および社外と効果的にコミュニケーションできること

学歴

工学、コンピュータプログラミング、情報技術、または関連分野の学位

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Currently, our Sales team is searching for a Sales Integration professional to serve as a key member of the Integration Team to (A) support PayPal product integration to major merchants / carts / payment gateways, (B) communicate and coordinate engineering issues related to product integration among Sales / Account Management and other internal divisions for new products and existing products, and (C) take initiative to nurse and develop the community in Japan.

Proficient in:

  • Hands on expertise in Javascript, Java, REST API framework
  • 3+ years of experience with web technologies including Web services,  XML, SOAP, APIs, NVP, HTTP/HTTPS, HTML, FTP/SFTP
  • 4+ years of experience with two or more major programming languages (C++, C, C#, Ruby, Perl, .NET, PHP, Python).
  • 2+ years of experience with mobile technologies including iOS, and Android application frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Abilities to build test codes and sample integrations

Preferred Work Experiences:

  • 5+ overall years of experience
  • Previous experience in Sales Engineering/System Engineering or Professional Services, preferably with companies engaged in e-commerce.
  • Previous experience with Payments (Credit Card, Banking, Online, Offline), especially with e-commerce systems, payments gateways and payment processors.
  • Knowledge of support/sales CRM such as Salesforce etc.

SKILLS, CHARACTERISTICS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong communication skills with internal divisions and Japanese merchants / partners to understand their requirements and concerns, as well as explain best solutions with the available PayPal products.
  • He / she should be able to think creatively, act strategically, be technically knowledgeable about the PayPal integration process and product line (or be a fast learner) and communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Business English communication skill is must.
  • Knowledge of Japanese ecommerce in general is a must. 

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Programming, Information Technology, or a related field.
