Within PayPal Risk as a Service, we're helping companies prevent fraud and abuse with machine learning, big data analytics and data visualization capabilities. The Simility fraud and risk management platform levels the playing field against even the most sophisticated fraud ring by enabling analysts to create and configure detection mechanisms without having to write one line of code. Simility's integration engineers are experts who excel at not only understanding the customer environment, but also are creative technologists who know how to ensure a seamless integration of Simility with the customer's existing components. They continuously build upon and apply their technical knowledge and skills at every level. The successful integration engineer will exhibit and build upon deep expertise to ensure that they can not only help customers but also learn from their needs and behaviors. Integration engineers also spend their time working on projects that affect many parts of the organization, including automating processes, coding custom tools, contributing bug fixes to various products, advocating for features with the product team, and managing instances that are vital to the success of Simility.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the deployment teams and product development teams to diagnose and resolve issues encountered during product integration, ensuring a smooth, customer friendly product design and integration 

  • Provide education and guidance on configuring and working with Simility's products to prevent problems before they occur 

  • Contribute to the end-to-end quality of the product by verifying fixes and advocating for improvements 

  • Coordinate and manage customer contact for critical product integrations, providing thorough follow up on customer commitments 

  • Ensure the success of our product by keeping Simility integrations up and running across the globe 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience with a minimum 3 years of experience 

  • DevOps, Cloud Experience and sound knowledge of Linux, containers and deployment methodologies  

  • Experience in coding with Java and/or Python is a big plus 

  • Experience with Big data technologies such as Cassandra, Spark, and Kafka is a plus 

  • Top-notch problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex concepts with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • Ability to think creatively and define product and customer needs
