PayPal currently seeks a talented and entrepreneurial Outbound Sales Executive to join the North American Inside Sales team selling to U.S. and Canadian market segments. We are looking for someone with sales experience who uses a consultative sales approach to help small and mid-sized merchants scale their business through the variety of payment solutions available in the PayPal commerce platform. The position is based in Chandler, Arizona.

This position represents an exciting opportunity to join, learn, and grow on our enthusiastic team. As part of Inside Sales, you would be responsible for acquiring new PayPal business accounts and managing those relationships through the sales lifecycle. Inside Sales Representatives will be responsible for self-prospecting, networking, and working leads provided by internal teams.  This position reports to the Manager of North America Inside Sales (Canada/Core) and interfaces heavily with internal PayPal teams (Finance, Pricing, Compliance, Underwriting, Legal, Marketing, Product and Integration) to enable an efficient interaction between PayPal, the merchant and its end users.

The ideal candidate would be a dedicated and motivated individual who can help drive revenue growth while creating long-term client relationships.

Job Expectations

  • Meet and exceed established sales and revenue targets.

  • Build, manage and deliver on a pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.

  • Meet and exceed sales activity targets such as discovery calls, outbound communications, new account acquisitions and close rates.

  • Develop personal sales strategies to achieve sales goals and exceed sales targets.

  • Represent the company at the occasional tradeshow, in varied markets.

  • Ability to execute the entire sales process starting with prospecting new leads to the activation of new accounts.

  • Maintain and promote a positive and professional persona while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing internal and external customers and colleagues.

  • Demonstrate productive teamwork through positive attitude, being supportive in words and actions, embodying the core values of PayPal.

  • Exemplify job professionalism through exercising discretion and good judgment, while keeping company and customer information confidential.

  • Maintain comprehensive understanding and application of PayPal product and services, market competitors, industry trends and client success stories as provided by management.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales experience.

  • 1+ years of outbound sales experience in infrastructure, software, fintech, or ecommerce industries.

  • Knowledge and understanding of processing and financial models in e-commerce is a plus.

  • Proven ability to close deals of more than $2 million annually.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.

  • Proficient in Office 365 and other desktop solutions, with an ability to navigate a desktop environment easily.

  • A team player with great interpersonal, cross-functional project management abilities.

  • Ability to multi-task and work many sales opportunities simultaneously.

  • Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through.

  • Bilingual (French) speaker is a plus (Canada position only).
