In this exciting role you will be responsible for all inbound sales requests from french customers, selling products to businesses by aligning PayPal’s customized payment solutions to their business needs. You will have the ability to fully articulates the PayPal value proposition to prospective merchants, and lead the end to end sales process from discovery and qualification through to negotiating contract terms and closing deals. You engage customers via telephone, email and web chat. Your success in this role will be measured by a set of KPIs including revenue and opportunity conversion productivity. Key Experience  

Fluency in French and English is required, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities | Specific Duties

Sales

  • Inbound Telephone sale of PayPal products to small and medium sized businesses (SMB)
  • Supporting customers who contact through Phone, Live Chat, Web Forms and Product applications
  • To hit financial monthly targets based on revenue generated by those new merchants you on-board
  • Acquisition of new merchants as well as cross-selling and upselling to existing customers
  • Counselling merchants with regards to our products and improvements
  • Pipeline management

Onboarding

  • Supporting the technical integration of PayPal in cooperation with the Integration Department
  • Guiding the merchant through the PayPal Compliance process before going live
  • Handing over the newly acquired customer to the Existing Customer Management

Processes

  • Development and implementation of process improvements
  • Support for the launch of new products 
  • Project management

Requirements | Experience, Qualifications, Personal Agility & Competencies 

Experience & Qualifications | Consistent Track Record of Achievement, Education & Development

  • Languages: French and English – both written and verbal
  • IT Programs: Good Microsoft Office knowledge, Salesforce experience is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel: little to very little
  • 1 year + experience in Sales or Telesales in an online or financial services or e-commerce environment.
  • Sales experience in customer acquisition as well as cross and up selling
  • Track record in reaching revenue targets in the small/medium business area
  • Excellent communicative skills
  • Good organization and self-motivation skills
  • Excitement and interest for online payment systems and e-commerce
