For this role, we’re recruiting for a Benefits Program Administrator. The Program Administrator will be responsible for the administration of global benefits programs. The ideal candidate has a broad benefits background with strong expertise administering company health and welfare plans, while demonstrating success managing multiple vendor partnerships. This role will provide for the US health and welfare programs, and deliver effective communications, best in class administration/operational excellence while ensuring programs are compliant. Reporting to the Director, Americas Benefits, this role is a thought partner within the overall team, sharing subject matter expertise, while managing administrative and operational tasks and project management. Supporting the evolution and integration of PayPal’s core values which includes programs to help employees achieve their personal health, emotional and financial objectives, is also an important function of all Benefit team members.

What you’ll do:

  • Support the daily administration of the global health and wellness programs
  • Review employee data and update as needed
  • Manage employee benefit plan escalations
  • Audit enrollment data, reviewing reports
  • Update intranet content and external site information for Benefits
  • Manage enrollment in international expat health insurance program.
  • Support M & A due diligence and company integrations while delivering an exceptional employee experience
  • Complete audits and plan reconciliations, including surveys and conduct benchmarking analysis to ensure PayPal Benefit programs are aligned with the competitive market
  • Drive change through effective program management, while driving employee engagement and delivering effective Benefit communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal contacts such as Payroll, Global Wellness, Employee Experience and Employee Central.
  • Demonstrate an ability to solve complex problems; build relationships across organization boundaries; commitment to quality and continuous improvement; detail oriented; recognized as subject matter expert.

Qualities of the right candidate for this role:

  • 3-5 years of US Benefits experience ideally in a high-growth, scaling, technology environment.
  • A strong understanding of US best practices, current trends, and market benchmarks.
  • Project leadership and process improvement background
  • Demonstrated ability to use sound business judgement when collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Proven ability to execute processes accurately and on time
