As GFCCP Technology Strategy Senior Manager you will drive technology strategy for internal solutions, leading a team of analysts and driving world class solutions for Compliance and Risk technology enablement.

The Global Financial Crimes and Customer Protection (GFCCP) organisation is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated individual to ensure the success of critical GFCCP technology initiatives and enhancements, and lead strategic initiatives in alignment and coordination with the various teams within GFCCP and the product development organisation.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in the successful identification of technology needs and implementation of technology solutions across the compliance space for both traditional and Crypto compliance risk teams. The individual will be responsible for leading a team, deeply learning the various business processes across different GFCCP compliance groups and creating a comprehensive tools strategy based on quantified and qualitative objectives. They will develop trusted relationships across multiple domains and partners, drive initiatives, track adherence to the timelines and priorities and be an active and engaging partner both for business and technology contacts.

You will set and execute on a vision for your team that reflects your deep analytical expertise. You will be a thought partner to compliance leadership teams. You will partner with these teams to understand the tools and insights the teams require and leverage cross-functional teams to develop and land solutions that meet their needs at scale.

This role requires a thought leader and expect communicator with the ability to create a vision based on deep understanding of customer needs and lead the team through the vision execution.


  • Gain full understanding of tool functionalities and processes across GFCCP to effectively drive change and prioritisation

  • Lead a team of technology and tools enablement analysts

  • Drive tools strategy in partnership with internal operations teams and technology partners

  • Identify and escalate issues to GFCCP technology oversight leaders

  • Present in senior leadership forums

  • Ensure that clear and precise business requirements are delivered to technical partners

  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders

  • Mentor members of the team, guide and groom them for more responsibility


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent required or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives or IT transformation

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading or managing teams effectively including planning/structuring work, facilitating team workshops and developing technology strategy recommendations

  • Ability to lead projects that deliver world-class business technology solutions and make sure teams are positioned for long term success creating practical roadmaps

  • Previous experience managing end-to-end projects and reporting and escalating to top levels

  • Possess advanced presentation and public speaking skills

  • Knowledge of BSA/AML laws, regulations surrounding money service businesses, industry guidance and best practises is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Crypto and blockchain familiarity is a plus


  • Must possess strong verbal, written, presentation, and other communication skills:  Communication at all levels is crucial in this role, including the ability to communicate complex and technical matters in simple terms to management, the ability to communicate in more technical terms with development teams to ensure full understanding of business requirements and project expectations

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic financial services environment

  • Skill in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results

  • Able to maintain composure under pressure and make sound decisions

  • Must display a high level of professional judgement, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service

  • Must be passionate about developing and maintaining clear and sustainable processes supporting technology project developments and related coordination
