Primary Job Responsibilities: The Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for providing reporting and analytical support for Gopay GCS. The role’s responsibilities will consist mainly of creation and tracking of key performance indicators as well as detailed reporting and analysis and recommendations of projects, processes, and products specific to operations. This role requires effective communication, good data modeling experience and familiarity with BI development systems and reporting tools.

Core Duties:

  • Work with extremely talented peers in a fun environment building performance efficient, highly scalable, configurable solutions spanning multiple technologies and platforms 
  • Partner with business users to define, analyze, document their analytical and operational data needs, design data model and identify potential solutions, shortlist and compare them. Finalize the solution by collaboration with business.
  • Create design documents that describe the functionality, capacity, architecture, and process.
  • Develop, test and implement data solutions based on finalized design documents.
  • You should be comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams, should have appetite to learn and be flexible to pick up new technology.
  • Proactively identify potential production issues and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Partner with other business teams to offer insights and opportunities to adjust priorities, processes, and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of database principles, SQL, and experience working with large databases beyond just data access;
  • Experience with common reporting tools and platforms – Excel, PowerBi, Tableau, QlikView, Teradata, ETL, Datalake (Hadoop), Informtica, Golden gate, Kafka, Microstrategy, Tableau, Powerdesigner, etc.
  • Experience with data warehousing, acquisition, ETL and data lifecycle – GG, Informatica is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Teradata, Oracle, Datalake, and SQL tuning;
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structure, and performance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in working with batch processing/ real-time systems using various open source technologies like Hadoop, NoSQL, Spark, Pig, Hive, etc.
  • Implemented complex projects dealing with the considerable data size (PB).
  • Optimization techniques (performance, scalability, monitoring, etc.)
  • Background with CS applications and CS KPIs, as well as applying them to CS Performance management and planning is a plus
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate with several stakeholders in English.
