The PayPal Controllership, Global Record-to-Report organization is looking for a highly motivated individual with a combination of strong fixed asset accounting and interpersonal skills. The position is located in Omaha, NE and will support fixed asset accounting and general ledger related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on activities in the following areas:
    • Fixed asset accounting
    • M&A accounting transitions
    • General ledger accounting initiatives
  • Support fixed asset accounting reconciliations
  • Support SOX & Audit tasks related to fixed asset accounting and general ledger activity

The successful candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and possess fixed asset accounting experience. The ability to manage relationships cross functionally through clear communication of goals and objectives is extremely important.

Candidates for this position must have:

  • 3+ years accounting experience in both fixed assets and industry. Experience at a large growth company a plus.
  • Solid experience with SAP General Ledger system
  • Strong process improvement skills; proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation software.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, rapidly changing environment, and to lead and drive complex initiatives.
  • Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement.

Candidates should also possess the following:

  • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance, and SOX
  • Good communications skills
  • Energy and desire to thrive in a fast-paced organization with flexibility as needed
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent required
