We are looking for an FP&A Financial Analyst who will be responsible for driving the budgeting and forecasting process for the International portfolio based out of Singapore, with additional responsibilities for Japan FP&A business coverage. The individual will work closely with business and finance leaders across the portfolio to analyze business performance, explain key drivers and make actionable recommendations to drive portfolio performance.

Responsibilities include:

•       Analyze and forecast revenue and other key performance indicators (“KPIs”) such as TPV and Take Rate within the PayPal International business, including all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and detailed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly variance analysis reporting

•       Provide management with timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to monitor business KPIs and financial results in order to enable key strategic decision-making

•       Coordinate and communicate with country FP&A teams within the International portfolio and global FP&A teams in Luxembourg and San Jose to ensure alignment and consistency of data and messaging, and to ensure information flows seamlessly across the various finance teams.

•       Analyze and forecast Operating expenses (“Opex”) within the International portfolio, including all aspects of budgeting, forecasting and detailed monthly variance analysis reporting, as well as conducting ad hoc expense reviews & contribute to expense deployment decisions

•       Ensure alignment on all Opex & Headcount matters with regional and global Opex FP&A leads

Job Requirements

•       4-6 years of related experience in a fast moving and matrixed environment preferably with a payments, internet or ecommerce company

•       Proficiency with Essbase and Teradata is required

•       Experience in SQL and/or SAS, Excel macros and Visual Basic is a plus

•       Excellent communication and presentation skills

•      Fluent in English, Japanese language a must

•       Strong desire and ability to work in a dynamic, innovative, fast-paced environment
