PayPal is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to join the Global Finance Operations team.This position is located in Omaha, NE. The Finance Business Analyst will gather,document ,manage and support data maintenance, configuration, analytics and activities for the Finance organization at PayPal. A successful candidate must be self-motivated, have an inquiring mind and proactive nature. This candidate must have proven experience in influencing and communicating effectively across all levels of the company, from individual business users to executive management. He or she should have proven ability to build relationships / partnerships and work cross-functionally to drive time sensitive deliverables, issues,tracking and reporting. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills and should be able to work independently to accomplish the assigned task.

Job Duties and Responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

1.Develop a product roadmap for 2-3 Product Portfolio’s and work with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Accounting Policy Group, Program managers, Product, Engineering, Analytics and UX)
2.Execute on the roadmap.
3.Candidate should be equipped to work in a highly collaborative , cross-functional matrix organization who should be able to gather , collect and analyze accounting requirement from product requirement and translate them into data, accounting ,reconciliation and reporting related requirement.
4.Candidate should act independently as a liaison between Product, External banks, Treasury,Engineering, Accounting, Disputes, Accounting policy, Risk, Operational reporting and Regulatory reporting to gather requirement and assess impact.
5.The candidate should be able to document the outcome of discussion with in a BRD that document Product Description, Signed off T-accounts, Reconciliation approach, bank accounts and GL (if needed)
6.Understand, manage and maintain product development, inbound interface impacts, outbound interface maintenance and development as well as transformations of source data into the Bank Analyzer and BW on HANA environments.
7.Should be assertive to call out risks of delay upfront if the test execution impact the product launch timelines in Program forums.
8.The candidate should be able to kick off a BRD discussion with all the impacted teams and ensure that teams are equipped with all inputs to design right products.
9.The candidate should be able to work with accounting function to execute the user acceptance test and seek sign off.
10.Provide the right support to the RTB team for products in warranty stage
