The Enterprise Sales Manager is responsible for understanding the customer’s business needs in detail and aligning their needs with appropriate solutions to proactively drive new sales and growth opportunities. You will be responsible for driving incremental revenue through your assigned merchant relationships and cross selling new PayPal products into the customers portfolios you manage.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle including prospecting, outreach, qualifying, pitching, and closing business
  • Pursues net new business through a high volume of strategic prospecting and account development motions.
  • Builds strong “trusted” C-level relationships with clients, creating trust and confidence at multiple levels, including users, key contacts, managers and business leaders, to increase revenue and sales opportunities
  • Captures and records customer information and sales activity data into customer relationship management (CRM) system and appropriate business systems.
  • Maintains and reports regularly on a pipeline of sales activity, account development plans, revenue forecasts and closing timetables.
  • Prepare and manage on-site merchant meetings with decision-makers to close deals
  • Assists in establishing product development priorities based on customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Several years of experience selling complex, enterprise solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a number of accounts while upselling and exceeding renewal & new business targets.
  • Prior payments knowledge preferred
  • Proven consultative sales abilities and ability to work well in a matrix environment, collaborate across multiple departments
  • Strong collaborative skills with ability to influence all levels within an organization
  • Experience working with Salesforce a plus
  • Fluent German and English
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
