In this exciting role you will be responsible for prospecting and acquire new accounts, building strategic relationships with key client leaders, driving pipeline activity and increase revenues with new business opportunities for PayPal in LATAM region. Responsibilities - New sales prospecting, building strategic relationships with key leaders in client’s organizations. - Clearly articulating the PayPal value proposition to prospective customers. - Completing customer discovery, identifying key value drivers, and identifying the correct product offering to pitch. - Leading and managing the sales process including developing the sale, negotiating contract terms, and closing the deal. - Develop strategic relationship with enterprise merchants - Drive revenue growth of PayPal solutions by meeting or exceeding quotas on quarterly basis

Key competencies

You’re an established individual contributor with at least 8 years B2B Sales or Commercial roles experience.

You have prior experience in a sales role selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial service, preferably in the payments industry.

You’ve got a hunter’s mentality and possess strong negotiation techniques and commercial acumen to develop strong business cases

have the ability to clearly articulate commercial value proposition to prospective customers, complete customer discovery, identify key value drivers and the correct product offering to pitch

You are able to work under pressure and objectives driven oriented measured by quota attainment as part of the sales cycle.

Requirements

Prospecting & Pipeline Management

  • Identify and capture new opportunities through research, networking, and partnerships.
  • Follow the set sales process (including maintaining a record of activity, updating SFDC etc.) and create an action plan to approach multiple merchants to generate new business.
  • Forecast with accuracy. Prioritize and qualify deals.
  • Build up a large pipeline that allows for higher level of dropouts.

Acumen

  • Knowledge of the features and benefits of the broader product portfolio.
  • Dedicated to maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings, reviewing industry knowledge, and maintaining professional industry networks
  • Ability to understand emerging technologies and products and the company’s strategies to address them.
  • Ability to gather industry insight and monitor competition and communicate the company’s differentiated value proposition vs. key competitors.

Customer Orientation & Relationship Management

  • Quickly identify decision makers, influencers, and advocates regardless of organizational structure and build trust and credibility quickly with new stakeholders
  • Building strong rapport with contacts for the life of the relationship, with a longer-term plan to hand over to Customer Success Managers or Account Executives

Communicating

  • Ability to sell to multiple and diverse stakeholders (technical, finance, business)
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and drive conversations
  • Ability to present the key facts and gain interest quickly with new stakeholders, including strong whiteboard, in person & on-video presentation skills
  • Ability to cold start and manage knock-backs with resilience

Negotiating & Influencing

  • Ability to develop internal networks with peers both within and outside own team, and by growing external contact networks
  • Ability to successfully engage and collaborate with cross-functional counterparts
  • Ability to effectively negotiate with merchants
