PayPal seeks an Engineering Lead to lead its Giving Platform team in Guatemala. In this role you will be leading a team of engineers to build the next generation Giving and Fundraising experiences/products. The PayPal Giving Platform team builds donation and fundraising products that connects hundreds of thousands of non-profits, millions of donors and tens of Partner marketplaces at a global scale to drive good for the community whilst meeting the company’s business objectives.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • Drive engineering strategy and vision for the product working closely with customers, product managers and key stakeholders
  • Participate in the analysis, architecture, design, and delivery of large scale enterprise products and platforms
  • Be able to define and set standards for engineering rigor and help cultivate an engineering driven culture
  • Proven results-oriented person with a delivery focus
  • Strong English communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts.
  • Ability to motivate the team to innovate
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following technologies is highly desirable Java, Node.js, React, Machine learning
